EPFL reveals its new visual identity

The École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne is celebrating its 50th anniversary! For this occasion, the institution entrusted us with the creation of its new visual identity.

Last Monday, the institution unveiled its new logo on campus, next to the Rolex Learning Center with a 2.60 meter high metal structure. A magnificent variation that we were more than happy to capture on camera.

“We wanted to embody a young Swiss school that was not only highly dynamic, but also exploratory, technological, and with an international reach. In short, a start-up that has grown up fast and is coming of age,” explained Martin Vetterli, President of EPFL.

Developing a new brand identity for an institution like EPFL was an exciting challenge. The school deeply inspires the lives of those who study and teach there. A true platform for research and the exchange of knowledge, EPFL is also a campus for personal and professional development.

2019 will be marked at EPFL by a number of events celebrating science, research, education and innovation. These are all missions that make the EPFL a real life course contributing to human, social, environmental and economic development…

We thank the various media who reported the news in very positive ways.
