Live your passion
Katherine Choong lives on the edge of the void, with her feet on the ground and her head in the stars. At 27 years old, she is the first Swiss woman to have conquered a ninth degree route in climbing, the most demanding degree of difficulty in the discipline. There are only about twenty women in the world who have achieved such a performance.
Behind her apparent shyness, a daring and feline spirit is revealed, which has always pushed her to conquer distant cliffs. At 8 years old, after getting to know the trees of the family home in Glovelier in the canton of Jura, she discovered climbing by coincidence, during an initiation. It was love at first sight that channelled her energy and her desire to climb. “Finding solutions to go higher, despite and thanks to this healthy fear that pushes you, to measure yourself against others, I loved it right away.
Katherine Choong, star dancer with a vertical floor, was the speaker of this 4th edition >moserpulse. She shared her vision with us, her inspirations and her “simple life” lifestyle in a convivial and privileged moment of exchange.
