La Vie en Jaune

In twenty years’ time, Pascal Bourquin will be able to look back and contemplate the distance covered: more than 65,000 km, i.e. all the hiking trails in Switzerland marked out in yellow.

Beyond the phenomenal distance it represents, it is the duration and consistency of the project that is fascinating: 28 years, at the rate of one or two excursions per week and the devotion to communing with nature and people. Pascal, who has already covered more than a quarter of his journey, came to talk to us about La Vie en Jaune, the name he gave to his project.

A story with a hero brimming with sympathy and humour, fuelled by ambition and passion, but above all guided by pleasure and love for our regions.
